Internal System Documentation Support Needed
Budget: €12 – €18 EUR
Our backend platform keeps evolving, and the in-house docs have fallen behind. I’m looking for a meticulous technical writer who can step in and bring all text-based documentation up to date so that every engineer and analyst on the team can find clear, current instructions whenever they need them.
Scope
• Audit the existing manuals and internal wiki pages to spot gaps or outdated sections.
• Rewrite, expand, or create fresh documentation for setup, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting workflows.
• Organise content logically so new hires and veteran developers alike can navigate it quickly.
• Deliver the final material in a clean, searchable format—Markdown is preferred, though I’m open to alternatives if you have a stronger recommendation.
Acceptance criteria
1. Every core module of the system has a complete, peer-reviewed manual.
2. All code snippets build or compile without errors.
3. Links, screenshots, and cross-references resolve correctly.
4. Content passes a quick internal review for clarity and accuracy.
If you have a background writing developer-focused docs and can translate complex backend processes into concise, practical guidance, I’d like to hear how you’d approach this and see a sample of similar work.
