Engineering Technical Spanish Translation and Localization

I have a steady flow of engineering-related technical documentation that must be translated and fully localised for Spanish-speaking professionals. The material ranges from installation manuals and maintenance guides to safety sheets, all of which must satisfy strict industry standards and regulatory requirements in both wording and formatting.
Accuracy and compliance sit at the core of this assignment. Each deliverable has to read like a document originally produced in Spanish, while retaining every specification, parameter and unit of measure exactly as presented in the source. I will share existing glossaries and style guides—your role includes expanding and refining them as the project evolves.
Beyond translation itself, I rely on you to:
• Review your own work (and occasionally that of other team members) for terminology consistency, correct tone and adherence to current regulations.
• Flag ambiguities or omissions in the source text and propose clear, technically sound alternatives.
• Suggest process improvements that streamline future hand-offs and leverage translation-memory tools such as Trados, memoQ or similar.
Familiarity with localising user interfaces and software strings is a plus; while the immediate focus is on written documentation, our roadmap includes updating firmware GUIs and companion apps, so insight into engineering-centric UI terminology will be valuable.
