Detailed FTIR Methodology Report

Job ID: 40518496

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a set of Infrared (FTIR) spectra ready and need a clear, publication-level report built around them. Your task is to transform the supplied raw files, instrument settings, and my brief notes into a standalone document that walks the reader through the experimental methodology, presents the results in a logical flow, and supports each conclusion with the specific peaks and assignments observed.

Here is what I will hand over:
• Raw FTIR spectra in digital format (CSV and/or native software files)
• Instrument parameters, calibration details, and sample preparation notes
• Any reference standards or comparison spectra I have already collected

What I expect back:
• A well-structured technical report (Word or LaTeX) that includes Introduction, Experimental Section, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, and properly formatted References
• High-quality figures of the spectra (PNG or TIFF) with peak labels, baseline corrections noted, and relevant annotations
• A concise table summarizing key peak positions, functional group assignments, and qualitative/quantitative observations
• Clear description of all data-processing steps (software versions, smoothing, normalization, baseline subtraction, etc.) so the work is fully reproducible

Acceptance criteria
• Methodology section must be detailed enough that another lab could replicate the run without extra clarification.
• All spectral figures must be publication ready at 300 dpi minimum.
• Terminology, units, and reference formatting should follow either ACS or ISO guidelines; let me know which you prefer at kickoff.

If you have experience preparing FTIR reports for journals, regulatory filings, or GMP documentation, that will be a strong plus. Once we agree on the outline I will upload the files and expect a first draft within a week, with one revision cycle included.
