Cybersecurity Book Editing & SOPs
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I have a draft manuscript on cybersecurity aimed at an intermediate audience. The content spans many domains within the field, but the current flow feels choppy and the practical procedures are scattered. I need the manuscript reshaped into a smooth, logical narrative and expanded with clear Standard Operating Procedures that readers can apply immediately.
Your job is to:
• Re-sequence chapters and sections so concepts build naturally from one to the next.
• Line-edit for technical accuracy, concision, and cohesive voice while preserving my tone.
• Identify every place an SOP would strengthen understanding, then write or refine those step-by-step instructions (command-line examples, configuration snippets, verification steps, etc.).
• Flag jargon that may confuse an intermediate reader and insert brief clarifications where appropriate.
• Deliver the revised manuscript in Word with tracked changes plus a clean copy, and provide all SOPs compiled in a separate appendix for easy reference.
Acceptance criteria: the reorganized draft reads end-to-end without logical gaps; each SOP is actionable and technically sound; all edits are visible through track changes; and no cyber-terminology errors remain.
