Code & Manual Formatting Assistant
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I have draft user-manual content packed with raw code snippets, screenshots, and notes. What I need is a fresh set of eyes to turn those rough paragraphs into a clean, professional PDF. The focus is solely on the Installation Instructions and Usage Guidelines sections—no troubleshooting work for now.
Your main job will be to tidy up and consistently format every code block (syntax highlighting, proper indentation, consistent font), align captions with the images, and ensure headings, cross-references, and page breaks flow naturally. If you have a favourite toolchain—whether it’s Sphinx, MkDocs, LaTeX, or a well-configured Word-to-PDF workflow—feel free to use it; I only care that the final output looks sharp and reads smoothly.
I’ll supply:
• The raw Markdown/Word files containing the text
• All embedded images and example code
You’ll return:
• A polished, press-ready PDF (A4) containing the Installation Instructions and Usage Guidelines, fully formatted and linked
• The source files you used, so future edits stay easy
If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable handling code samples, and keen to build your portfolio, let’s get started.
