Chart-to-Text Knitting Conversion
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have a clear PDF chart for a colourwork sweater and need it turned into straightforward, row-by-row written instructions for the size 3x. The grid covers the full yoke and body shaping, so every stitch count, repeat and shade change has to transfer cleanly to text.
Once I send the PDF, simply return a document (Word, Google Doc or similar) that spells out each round in standard knitting shorthand—for example, “Rnd 1: *K3 MC, K2 CC; rep from * to end—120 sts”. Include a brief key that links the symbols in the original chart to MC, CC1, CC2, etc. There are no cables or lace involved, only colourwork.
I’ll verify accuracy with a small swatch: if my counts line up for the first 20 rounds, the job is complete.
