Blueprints-to-Text Documentation Conversion

Job ID: 40253314

Budget: £10 – £15 GBP

A collection of detailed engineering blueprints needs to be transformed into clear, written documentation that captures every component precisely. The goal is a concise reference that lets any engineer understand what each part is, where it sits in the design, and why it matters—without having to unfold a single sheet of drawings.

Scope
• Source material: engineering blueprints (PDF and native CAD exports will be provided).
• Focus: component descriptions only; no step-by-step build notes or high-level functional overviews are required.
• Format: deliver the final document in a recognised, standard industry structure—sections, numbering, and terminology that align with ISO/IEC technical writing conventions. A Word file and an editable Markdown version will both be needed.

Acceptance criteria
1. Every component shown on the supplied blueprints is listed and described with name, purpose, relevant spec data and cross-reference to its location call-out.
2. Terminology remains consistent with annotations on the drawings.
3. Document passes a quick peer review for clarity and completeness (I’ll supply the checklist).
4. Final files are delivered ready for direct inclusion in our internal knowledge base.

If you thrive on turning visual complexity into precise, reader-friendly text and are comfortable interpreting mechanical or civil drawings, this task should be straightforward. Please outline any similar conversions you have completed and confirm your estimated turnaround time.
