Project Description
We are looking for a female translator fluent in English and French, with strong knowledge of IT and cybersecurity terms.
The translator will support us during an in-person business meeting where our team will be physically present, while the translator joins remotely via video call. You will provide real-time interpretation of discussions, as well as assist with quick document or email reviews if needed.
This role requires clear and accurate translation, professionalism, and the ability to handle technical IT and cybersecurity language.
Responsibilities
• Provide real-time translation between English and French during meetings (via video call).
• Translate technical IT and cybersecurity discussions.
• Support with short document reviews if required.
• Be available online for the full duration of the meeting.
Requirements
• Female translator (preferred).
• Fluent in English and French.
• Familiar with IT and cybersecurity vocabulary.
• Comfortable with Zoom/Google Meet/Teams.
• Reliable internet connection and professional attitude.
Budget & Engagement
• Hourly rate: $15/hour up to 25$/hour - depends on the skills
• Engagement: A two-hour meeting (with flexibility if the meeting lasts longer).
• Future Work: Potential ongoing collaboration for similar meetings and translation tasks.
