Windows Snipping Tool Is Creating RAR Zip files instead of JPEG files

When I use the Windows Snipping Tool to choose a rectangle on the screen and save it, when I go back to that directory there is a RAR zip file instead of a JPEG. I want to fix the Snipping Tool.
