I’ve just purchased a Windows-based desktop for my apartment in the West Village and need a technician who can handle the full hand-over from my aging machine to the new one—about 200 MB of data in total. The job is straightforward but I want it done right: transfer all of my documents, personal files, and any system settings or preferences that will make the new PC feel instantly familiar.
Because I’m not locked into a particular migration tool, I’ll rely on your recommendation for the most reliable software or direct-connect method. Once the copy is complete I’d like you to walk me through a quick check so we can confirm everything opens correctly and that user profiles, desktop layout, and network settings have carried over.
Deliverables
• Unbox or connect the new Windows PC and verify basic functionality
