US Tech Onboarding Logistics Assistant
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I run the technical onboarding program for an established consulting firm that places professionals with partner clients across the United States. To keep new hires productive from day one, I coordinate everything from device imaging to shipment tracking, and I now need reliable help on the ground in the U.S.
Location: US Citizen only
Here’s what the role involves day-to-day:
• Device preparation – imaging, patching, and quality-checking laptops, desktop PCs, and the occasional mobile device so each unit arrives fully updated and user-ready.
• Technical onboarding support – walking new consultants through first-boot, VPN, and MFA setup over Zoom or Teams, answering basic IT questions, and escalating anything complex to our central engineering team.
• Equipment logistics – printing labels, boxing hardware, arranging carrier pickups, monitoring delivery status, and confirming receipt with the end user.
Success means every consultant receives the correct, fully functioning hardware on or before their start date and clears remote-access checks without delays.
I operate on predictable weekly cycles, and I’m happy to outline clear SLAs and hand-off procedures once we begin.
