IT Support service desk Coaching
Budget: $30 – $40 USD
I’m getting ready for a 1st- and 2nd-line support role and I’d like a seasoned service-desk engineer to walk me through everything that happens on the job and at the interview table. My goal is to understand the full ticket life-cycle—from the moment a call or email arrives, through triage, remote troubleshooting in tools like Intune, SCCM or TeamViewer, to escalation and final documentation—so I can speak about it confidently and perform the tasks on day one.
Here’s how I picture our work together: we meet online in a friendly, conversational setting, you share real-world examples of typical incidents, show me how you’d gather logs, check AD permissions, reset passwords, image a laptop, and keep the user updated in an ITIL-style ticketing system such as ServiceNow or Freshservice. I’d also like short mock-interview drills where you fire common service-desk questions at me, then pause to explain what an interviewer really wants to hear. By the end I want a concise cheat-sheet of key commands, best-practice documentation snippets, and a clearer narrative for my own experience so my answers sound structured rather than memorised.
Deliverables
• live coaching sessions
• A curated list of technical questions with model answers and troubleshooting flowcharts
• Feedback on my resume and a short summary I can use when asked, “Tell me about yourself”
If you’ve spent time on a busy service desk and enjoy mentoring, I’d love your help. if someone from india would be great but not mandatory
