SQL Server & Acronis Setup
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a hands-on IT technician who can come to our office in Singapore and carry out a clean installation and first-run configuration of two pieces of software: Microsoft SQL Server and Acronis (backup suite) on a freshly prepared Windows machine.
Here is what the visit will cover:
• Install the required edition of SQL Server, apply the latest cumulative updates, create an initial user database, and confirm network connectivity for remote clients.
• Install Acronis, register the licence, set up the first full system image, and schedule an automated daily incremental backup to our NAS.
• Verify that both products start with Windows and write a short report summarising versions, settings, and any recommendations.
All media, licences, and local admin access will be provided; please bring any bootable tools you normally rely on. A stable fibre connection is available on site for additional downloads. Let me know your earliest on-site availability and the approximate time you expect to spend so I can arrange access with building security.
