Resolve Meteo40 Modbus Timeout

Job ID: 39994369

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have an Ammonit Meteo 40-v1 datalogger that refuses to read an RK200 pyranometer on its RS-485 line. Wiring continuity has been checked end-to-end, the sensor’s Modbus ID, register map and scaling factors are already entered in the logger, and I have cycled through different baud-rates, parity options and stop-bit settings. The sensor talks Modbus RTU, yet the logger keeps reporting “Modbus timeout” with every poll.

What I need is a specialist who can take remote control (AnyDesk or similar) of the Meteo 40, inspect the existing setup and get live irradiance values flowing into the channel list. A clean solution is considered delivered once:

• the sensor registers appear in the Meteo 40 monitor with real-time data
• no Modbus timeout messages are triggered during a 15-minute test run
• the final working settings are documented for future reference

If you have proven experience with Ammonit devices, Modbus RTU over RS-485 and pyranometer calibration registers, I’m ready to give you access immediately so we can wrap this up today.
