Resolve Janome MC500E USB Issue
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My Janome MC 500E Limited Edition refuses to read anything I place on a USB stick—no .JEF files show up, only the dreaded “No Embroidery Files” message. I have already reformatted two drives to FAT32, yet the machine still ignores them.
I’m looking for someone who knows this exact model inside out and can jump on a live Zoom or Teams session to troubleshoot with me in real time. I need clear, step-by-step guidance on choosing or re-formatting a truly compatible USB, verifying that my designs are exported correctly from Janome Digitizer JR/MBX, Artistic Digitizer, or similar software, and loading those files so they finally appear in the MC 500E menu and stitch without errors. I need a competent and fast person
You may send an illustrated guide or short demo video beforehand, but the job is complete only after our live session ends with a successful test stitch from a freshly copied design.
Acceptance criteria:
• The USB stick is formatted and recognised by the MC 500E.
• At least one new .JEF design appears in the embroidery list.
• The machine completes a sample stitch-out with no errors.
Evenings UTC-5 are ideal for me; please share your MC 500E experience and propose a time for the call.
