Remote Windows Outlook & Drive Setup
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m stuck midway through setting up my remote-work laptop and need a fresh pair of eyes on three points:
1. Software installation on Windows is failing—it stalls during the wizard and never completes.
2. Outlook will not recognise my existing data file, so my mail and calendar are invisible.
3. An external drive has to be mounted and set as the target for automated backups, but Windows keeps assigning it a different letter each time I reconnect.
I can give you a live screen-share session (AnyDesk or similar) so you can see the errors in real time. The goal is simple: get the software fully installed, Outlook talking to the right .pst, and the backup folder mapped to the external drive with a stable path.
Deliverables
• Fully installed application running without errors
• Outlook opened with my historical mail and calendar restored
• External USB drive consistently recognised and configured as the backup destination
Once everything works, please walk me through what you changed so I can repeat the steps if I rebuild the machine. Windows 10 Pro is the OS in case that matters for any registry or PowerShell tweaks.
