Remote Kitchen Equipment Support Technician
Budget: $300 – $800 USD
We are a California-based company that designs and ships professional kitchen equipment (similar to a commercial dishwasher) to clients all over the world. I’m looking for a full-time technician who can sit on the front line with our customers, pick up the phone, and guide them through any hiccup they hit with our machines.
Our machine contains electronics, plumbing, and mechanical gears, motor, gearbox, loadcell, PCB, air pump, cables, etc.
During the first few months you’ll shadow our senior engineer on California hours so you can soak up our procedures and get comfortable with the product line. After roughly six months, you may switch to your own schedule as long as it keeps you available during a typical workday in Eastern Europe or Vietnam/Philippines/India time zones. The role is Monday through Friday, eight hours a day, on a fixed monthly salary.
What matters most:
•Interested in mechanical parts or have relevant expedience
•Solid technical support experience — you know how to listen, isolate a fault, and talk someone through a fix without seeing the hardware in person.
• Fluent, confident English on the phone and in writing.
• Comfort diagnosing hardware failures and common user errors; software problems are rare in our gear.
• A reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the patience to explain the same procedure ten different ways if that’s what the customer needs.
Day-to-day you’ll be answering inbound calls, logging each case in our CRM, walking chefs or maintenance staff through step-by-step troubleshooting, and escalating anything truly out of the ordinary to our engineering department. I’ll judge success by first-call resolution rate, accurate case notes, and customer feedback scores.
Down the road, if you are interested, you could also perform site survey, installation, repair, and maintenance at customer site.
If you’re after a steady, long-term position with clear processes and room to grow, send over your CV, a quick note on your most relevant support role, and the time zone you plan to work from. I look forward to meeting you. We can pay by a fixed monthly rate, or pay by hourly rate, open to discuss. The salary posted in the post is based on your location, and we offer promotions from time to time base on your performance.
If you are interested, please contact me on line and send in your resume.
