Recover Locked Facebook Account

My personal Facebook profile is locked behind the new passkey-style two-factor prompt. Here is what I can still access:

• the email address on the account (I receive OTP codes there and they arrive without issue)
• the correct password

What I no longer have is the security key/passkey that was stored on a phone that is now beyond repair. Because of this I’m stuck at the “Use your passkey or security key” screen and Facebook’s standard recovery flow keeps looping me back to it.

Steps I have already taken:
– Ran through Facebook’s “Forgot password” and “Can’t access your account?” pages
– Completed email verification successfully
– No trusted contacts or saved recovery codes exist on the account

I need actionable guidance or hands-on assistance that will get me past the passkey requirement and back into the profile. I’m ready to supply any ownership proofs (government ID, screenshots of emails from Facebook, past login details, etc.) the process might need.

End goal / acceptance criteria:
1. The account is fully accessible from a new device without requiring the missing passkey.
2. Two-factor is re-configured to methods I can control (e.g., authenticator app, phone number, or fresh security key).
