Part-Time IT Call Support
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Scheduled client calls fill my calendar each week, and I rely on an IT Support Specialist for Scheduled Client Calls to step in, share screen, and guide users through quick fixes and walk-throughs while the rest of the team and I manage the bigger picture.
The work is firmly software support—no sales pitches, no hardware replacements. Calls are set at least a day in advance, run 20–30 minutes each, and you slip seamlessly into our remote workflow on Slack and Zoom. Expect a handful of sessions spread through the day, perfect for slotting around other freelance projects yet steady enough to offer a reliable, above-average income stream.
Operating systems you must handle confidently:
• Windows
• macOS
• Linux
Developers sometimes ask about build tools, terminal commands, or version-control glitches, so a light grasp of “some development stuff” is welcome.
Acceptance criteria for every session:
• Join the meeting on time and greet the client professionally.
• Diagnose and resolve (or clearly document) the software issue before signing off.
• Enter a concise ticket note in our system immediately afterward.
A clear voice, strong internet connection, and patient teaching style are non-negotiable. Share your weekly availability and two concise examples of tricky software problems you recently solved across the OSs above, and we can get the first calls on your schedule.
