Conference Broadcast Technical Operator

I run a series of live, online conferences and need a sharp-eyed operator who can jump in the moment something technical goes wrong. Your sole focus will be real-time troubleshooting during each broadcast so presenters can keep speaking and the audience never notices a hiccup.
Here’s what the work looks like in practice:
• You join our vMix/OBS studio 30 minutes before we go live, verify ingest settings, audio sync and CDN connections.
• While the conference is streaming you monitor bitrate, latency, chat reports and platform health (typically YouTube Live or a private RTMP endpoint).
• The second you spot a freeze, echo or drop you diagnose and apply the fix—switch backup encoders, restart audio devices, adjust scene resources or guide on-site staff by voice.
• After we wrap you send a quick report of any incidents and the steps you took.
Acceptance criteria
• Stream stays live and in sync from first frame to last, with any interruption resolved inside 60 seconds.
• Post-event log summarises issues and resolutions clearly.
