Men’s Dress Shirt Tech Pack
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing to send a new line of men’s dress shirts into sampling and need a complete, factory-ready tech pack put together. The shirts will be cut from 95-97 % cotton / 3-5 % elastane blend, mid-weight 120-150 GSM (exact weight to vary with the weave), strong recovery, so every page of the pack should reflect those material parameters.
The pack has to cover three core areas:
• Fabric & Materials – full fiber breakdown, suggested weaves, color references and trim call-outs that match the cotton-elastane spec.
• Measurements & Sizing – detailed points-of-measure chart for base size plus graded specs across the full size run. Please include tolerances.
• Construction Details – stitch type, seam allowances, interlinings, button spec, placket build, collar and cuff structure, and any artwork/placement diagrams.
Flat sketches (front, back and any internal views) and a Bill of Materials page are essential, supplied in layered Illustrator or PDF format so my manufacturer can pull dimensions directly.
I’ll review the first draft for accuracy and completeness; once approved, you’ll deliver a clean production-ready file set. If you’ve created tech packs for tailored shirts before, that experience will be a plus.
