Men’s Clothing Line Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am building a fresh line of men’s apparel and need a product designer who can take my ideas from rough inspiration to factory-ready files. The job centres on men’s garments—think shirts, outerwear and trousers—so a strong eye for masculine silhouettes, proportion and detailing is essential.
Here’s what I expect to receive:
• Concept sketches that capture the overall style and fit
• Detailed technical flats in Adobe Illustrator (or comparable software) with call-outs for stitching, trims and construction
• Fabric and trim suggestions matched to each piece
• A complete tech pack for every garment, including measurement specs and colourways ready for sampling
Ability to work in CLO 3D or other 3-D visualisation tools will be a plus, as it helps me review drape and fit before sampling. While the first phase is men’s wear, there may be scope to branch into women’s or kids’ items later, so versatility is welcome.
