Durable Canvas Workwear Pants Design
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m developing a pair of hard-wearing industrial work pants and need a designer who can translate my vision into production-ready files. Durability is the single most critical factor, so every seam, reinforcement panel and trim choice must stand up to daily abuse on factory floors and construction sites. I’ve chosen a heavy-duty canvas as the base fabric and want the cut, stitching pattern and finishing details optimised specifically for that weave and weight.
What I’m looking for
• Concept sketches that clearly show front, back and side views
• A full tech pack with accurate measurements, fabric and notions call-outs, stitching specs and colourways
• Manufacturing-ready CAD or vector patterns my supplier can load straight into their system
Acceptance criteria
• All stress points bar-tacked or otherwise reinforced in the tech pack
• Canvas weight and shrinkage allowance called out on the spec sheet
• Pattern grading for at least five sizes included
• Files delivered in PDF and editable Illustrator (or similar) formats
If you have experience designing rugged PPE or industrial apparel, especially with canvas or similar hard-wearing textiles, I’d love to see a sample of your past work along with your estimated turnaround time.
