Design Work Shirts & Jackets

I’m ready to refresh the look of A & M Fire and Safety Equipment’s field team and I need a talented apparel designer to create our next-generation work uniforms. The scope is focused on two core pieces—shirts and jackets—so every sketch and fabric choice should centre on practicality, durability, and a polished brand presence.

We don’t have a fixed colour palette yet, so I’m counting on your eye for professional, safety-conscious hues that will make our crew recognizable out in the field while still feeling modern. If you’ve worked with PPE-friendly fabrics, heat-transfer graphics, or embroidery-ready layouts, that experience will be a plus.

Deliverables I’m expecting:
• 2–3 initial design concepts for both the shirt and the jacket, showing front, back, and any pocket or trim details
• Recommended colour schemes with Pantone codes (or close RGB equivalents) and brief rationale for each selection
• Final production-ready tech packs—including fabric specs, stitching instructions, and print/embroidery placement—delivered in AI or PDF format

Once we lock a design, I’d also appreciate light guidance on sourcing materials or manufacturers, but the core of this project is the creative work. If you can combine functional construction with a sharp, distinctive look, I’d love to see your portfolio and get started right away.
