30m Self-Standing Tower Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need a structural engineer to take my concept—a 30 m tall, self-standing lattice tower built from mild-steel angles—and turn it into a complete, fabricator-ready package. The tower’s sole purpose is to support equipment housed in two 400 mm M.S pipes that run vertically inside the structure.
Because I don’t have a fixed code in mind, I’m looking for your recommendation on the most suitable national or international standard for a site that sees only moderate wind loads and no unusual seismic or temperature extremes. Once the governing standard is agreed, I’ll rely on you for:
• Full structural analysis (wind, basic seismic check, serviceability)
• Member sizing for all M.S angles, plus checks on the two internal pipes
• Connection details, bolt sizing, and plate thicknesses
• Base-reaction output so my civil team can design the footing
• A concise design report with calculation sheets (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or similar)
• General arrangement and shop drawings in PDF and editable DWG
Acceptance criteria: when I can run your model and reproduce the utilisation ratios, and the drawings are clear enough for a fabricator to build without RFIs, the job is done.
If you’re comfortable designing lattice towers and can move quickly from concept to stamped deliverables, I’d like to hear how soon you could start.
