Wi-Fi IoT Connectivity Consultation
Budget: ₹1,250 – ₹2,500 INR
I’m developing a new line of smart-home products and need a seasoned IoT professional to fine-tune the Wi-Fi device connectivity layer. The focus is squarely on reliable onboarding, seamless over-the-air updates and rock-solid long-term operation within a typical residential network. Bluetooth or cellular aren’t part of this phase; every insight must revolve around 2.4 GHz/5 GHz Wi-Fi performance, interference mitigation and network-friendly traffic patterns.
What I’d like from you:
• Review my current hardware selection (ESP32-S3) and firmware stack.
• Suggest improvements to provisioning, roaming behaviour and power management.
• Outline best practices for secure OTA updates and remote diagnostics.
• Deliver a concise technical report plus annotated configuration files or sample code that I can drop straight into the build.
Acceptance criteria:
1. All recommendations are tested on at least two common home routers (please specify models used).
2. Example code compiles in PlatformIO and maintains >95 % connection uptime during a 24-hour stress test.
3. Documentation is clear enough that a junior engineer can replicate the setup in under an hour.
