I’m upgrading a series of steel vertical-lift gates on several Indian dams and barrages and need a complete motorisation package that runs on the site’s existing electric supply.
Your scope begins with verifying the operating loads and stroke for each gate, then specifying electric motors, gearboxes, hoisting arrangements, limit switches, control panels and any ancillary hardware that meet current BIS/IS standards for water-retaining structures. I’ll rely on you for the technical calculations /data sheets that justify every selection, as well as a clear bill of materials so procurement is straightforward.
Please deliver:
• Detailed design calculations and equipment datasheets
• General arrangement, fabrication and installation drawings in both DWG and PDF formats
• A compliance note referencing all relevant IS codes you have applied
• An installation and commissioning checklist that my on-site team can follow
