Configure Fanatec Podium PS5

I’ve just added a Fanatec Podium wheel base to my PlayStation 5 rig and now need a hand on the software side so the hardware performs exactly as advertised. The physical install is already done; what’s missing is the correct driver- and firmware-stack plus any companion apps that unlock advanced force-feedback, tuning menus, and button mapping.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

• Pinpoint and supply the latest official Fanatec driver package, firmware, and FanaLab (or equivalent) downloads that match the Podium series and PS5 compatibility list.
• Walk me through a clean installation on Windows laptop and ensure every component—wheel base, wheel rim, pedals, and hub—successfully updates its firmware.
• Configure recommended settings so the PS5 immediately recognises the setup in GT7 and other racers without button-mapping issues.
• Validate everything live: wheel powers on in PS5 Mode, force-feedback tests correctly, and no warning lights or error codes remain.

Acceptance criteria
1. All devices show the latest firmware in Fanatec Control Panel/FanaLab.
2. PS5 detects the wheel as a licensed controller and operates normally in-game.
3. A concise cheat-sheet of the final settings and download links is delivered for future reference.

I prefer someone be physical present to set up, as I don’t have a windows laptop for driver updates etc. based on the upper north shore in Sydney.
