Home Laser Printer Setup
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a new laser printer that must be fully configured for use in my home. The goal is simple: when I hit “Print” from any of my Windows PCs or laptops, the job should reach the printer instantly, with duplex and toner-saving defaults already in place.
Scope of work
• Install the latest drivers and firmware.
• Connect the printer to my home Wi-Fi network and assign a static IP so it never drops offline.
• Create the printer queue on each PC/laptop and verify a flawless test print.
• Set default options for duplex, grayscale, and paper size.
• Walk me through basic maintenance tools (toner level checks, cleaning cycles) so I can keep it running smoothly.
I’m comfortable granting remote access via AnyDesk or TeamViewer, or following clear step-by-step instructions if you prefer. The job is complete when the printer appears as the default device on every computer here, prints without errors, and wakes from sleep reliably each time.
If you have past experience configuring laser printers in a home environment, I’ll appreciate a brief note on the models you’ve handled and the remote tools you use.
