Online Assistant Teacher for Homeschooling Family (Australian Curriculum)

Our family seeks a professional online assistant teacher to join our homeschooling journey. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about education, able to adapt to individual learning styles, familiar with the Australian education system and curriculum, and experienced with the Education Perfect platform (https://www.educationperfect.com/).

Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning: Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with our chosen homeschooling curriculum, based on the Australian education system and educational goals.
Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective instruction in agreed-upon subject areas, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and strategies.
Assignments and Assessments: Create, assign, and assess homework, projects, quizzes, and tests to monitor and evaluate the children's progress and understanding of the material.
Providing Feedback: Offer constructive feedback on the children's work, identifying areas for improvement and encouraging their growth.
Adapting to Individual Needs: Recognize and adapt teaching methods to suit the learning styles and needs of each child, ensuring appropriate support and challenges.
Progress Monitoring: Track the children's progress, share regular updates, and discuss any concerns or areas of improvement with the parents.
Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with both the parents and children, discussing any issues or concerns, and seeking input when needed.
Technical Support: Effectively use and troubleshoot any technology or digital tools required for online instruction.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the parents, other educators, or specialists as needed to ensure a well-rounded and comprehensive educational experience for the children.

Requirements:
Relevant qualifications and experience in education (degree or certification preferred)
Familiarity with the Australian education system and curriculum
Experience with the Education Perfect platform
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable using technology and digital tools for online instruction
Flexible and adaptable to different learning styles
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
