I need a patient, results-oriented tutor who can take my Grade 9 and 10 students right up to their school finals in both Mathematics and Science. The priority is exam preparation, so every session should be built around syllabus-aligned revision, timed problem sets, and proven test-taking strategies rather than broad, open-ended exploration.
You’ll be working with them online, so please be comfortable using a virtual whiteboard, screen-sharing, and collaborative tools such as Google Drive for worksheets and past papers. A typical week would include two to three focused lessons per subject, targeted homework that reinforces the day’s concepts, and quick feedback loops to spot any lingering gaps before they snowball.
To keep everyone on track, I’ll look for:
• A personalised study plan showing how you will cover the full term’s Maths and Science material before finals
• Weekly progress notes that highlight strengths, emerging trouble spots, and next steps
