Indian Chess Coach for Kids
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I run a small after-school chess club for ten enthusiastic beginners, aged roughly 8 to 18. I’m looking for a tutor rated at least 1800 Elo who can commit to three hours of live online teaching each week. Sessions will be held in English; a comfortable B1–B2 level is enough as long as explanations stay clear and engaging.
Your brief:
• Design a simple, age-appropriate curriculum that builds solid opening principles, tactical awareness, and end-game basics. I don’t have fixed materials, so feel free to bring your own structure, worksheets, or lichess/Chess.com study tools.
• Conduct three one-hour group classes per week (or a similar split that totals three hours).
• Track each child’s progress and share concise feedback at the end of every month.
All ten students are pure beginners, so patience and the ability to keep lessons fun are essential. I’m budgeting $25–$50 per teaching hour and can settle payments weekly.
If you meet the rating requirement, reside in India, and enjoy working with kids, I’d love to see a short note about your playing background and any prior coaching experience.
