High School Math Video Lesson
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I’m putting together a series of recorded classes for my website and need a skilled high-school math teacher to lead the next session. You will work live with one of my students, guiding them through Algebra, Geometry and Calculus while we capture the entire lesson on video. Your face will appear small in a picture-in-picture window; the main screen will be whatever you write on your digital pad, so clear handwriting and smooth use of an online whiteboard or graphic tablet is essential.
The flow I’m after is a mix of concise lecturing and interactive problem-solving. Start each topic with a brief explanation, then walk the student through worked examples, prompting them to think aloud and tackle questions themselves. Keep the pace supportive but rigorous so viewers can both follow and learn strategies for tackling problems independently.
Technical setup
• You teach through Zoom, Meet, or a similar platform that lets us record in HD.
• Please use an external mic or quiet room for crisp audio.
• A writing tablet (e.g., Wacom, iPad + stylus, or equivalent) is required so the notes are neat and visible.
Deliverables
• One 45–60 minute recorded session covering Algebra, Geometry and Calculus in the style described above.
• Any digital notes or slides you create during the lesson, exported as PDF.
• Your consent for the edited video to be hosted publicly on our site, with attribution to you as the instructor.
I’ll handle scheduling, send the meeting link and manage the recording overlay so you can focus purely on teaching. If this sounds like a good fit, let me know your availability and a brief outline of how you would structure the hour.
