Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced assistant home-schooling teacher familiar with the Australian curriculum and education system to join our family's educational journey. The ideal candidate will work closely with the primary educator (parent) to provide our children a personalised and engaging learning experience. This role entails designing a comprehensive curriculum, creating individualised lesson plans, and implementing virtual classrooms on an e-learning platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Personalise the learning experience: Collaborate with the primary educator to adapt the learning environment to suit each child's unique needs and interests, fostering an engaging and customised experience.

2. Develop a comprehensive curriculum: Design a curriculum aligned with the Australian national standards, incorporating relevant industry-specific content to prepare our children for future educational and professional pursuits.

3. Create individualised lesson plans: Craft lesson plans that take into account each child's strengths, weaknesses, and learning preferences, maximising engagement and achievement.

4. Streamline lesson materials: Source, compile, and organise all necessary teaching materials to ensure smooth and effective instruction and learning.

5. Implement virtual classrooms on the e-learning platform (EP): Establish and maintain user-friendly virtual classrooms, providing a seamless experience for both the primary educator and the children.

6. Oversee daily lessons on EP: Coordinate the lesson schedule, ensuring all subjects are well-organised and covered in a timely manner.

7. Track children's progress: Regularly assess each child's performance, offering updates and recommendations to support their ongoing growth and development.

Qualifications:

• prior experience in home-schooling, tutoring, or teaching in a traditional classroom setting within the Australian education system.
• Familiarity with the Australian curriculum, various teaching methods, and curriculum development
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with the primary educator (parent)
• Tech-savvy and experienced with e-learning platforms.
