Tax Transcript & W-2 Analysis
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have the official 2024 income-tax return transcript and need a detailed breakdown that I can rely on for income verification, tax-withholding checks, and deduction confirmation. Your task is to read the transcript, pull every relevant W-2 line item, and translate those figures into clear, audit-ready numbers I can plug straight into pay-stub or budgeting worksheets.
Here is what I expect:
• A concise summary of gross wages, federal and state withholdings, and each pre-tax or post-tax deduction exactly as they appear in the transcript.
• Cross-checks that flag any inconsistencies between the transcript totals and what the W-2 sections should show for income, withholdings, and deductions.
• An Excel or Google-Sheets file that recreates the earnings-to-net calculation so I can adjust scenarios quickly. Formulas must remain visible.
• A brief written explanation (one page is fine) of any anomalies you spot plus your methodology so I can reproduce the math if ever questioned.
Please work from the transcript only—no bank statements or separate 1099s are involved in this project. Accuracy matters more than speed; however, I would like the first pass within three business days so I have time to review and ask follow-up questions.
If you have experience handling IRS transcripts, payroll reconciliation, or underwriting-style income reviews, that will show immediately in your bid.
