2025 U.S. Tax Calculator Development
Budget: $50 – $100 USD
I’m looking for someone based in the USA to build a spreadsheet-based tax calculator (Excel). It should:
1. Use 2025 federal tax brackets and standard deductions
2. Include state income tax based on the selected state
3. Include local or city taxes where applicable (like NYC or Chicago)
4. Let the user input:
• City (or city and state)
• Gross salary
• Filing status (single, married, etc.)
5. Automatically calculate:
• Federal tax
• State tax
• Local/city tax
• Net income after tax
The sheet should be clear and easy to use, with accurate formulas and data for 2025. I may also want Social Security and Medicare taxes included. Pre-tax deductions (like 401k) would be a nice bonus but are not required.
No APIs or integrations — just formulas and data that can be updated in the future if needed.
