I need a UK accountant or very experienced bookkeeper who can help me today with my company accounts for the period:
01 May 2024 to 30 April 2025
The work is already partly done in FreeAgent, but I need an expert to review, correct, reconcile, and help me get the accounts ready for:
Companies House filing
HMRC Corporation Tax / year-end accounts support
Software / experience required
You must have strong experience with:
FreeAgent
UK limited company accounts
Companies House filing
HMRC year-end / CT600 support
Amazon seller transaction bookkeeping
eBay transaction bookkeeping
marketplace clearing / payout reconciliation
credit card, loan, and director loan reconciliation
Current situation
I have already imported and coded a lot of transactions in FreeAgent, including:
Amazon transactions
eBay transactions
Tide Bank
Capital on Tap business credit cards
Amazon / eBay clearing accounts
Amazon reserve / eBay holds
But I need a qualified person to review and fix the year-end position properly.
Main tasks
I need help with:
Reviewing FreeAgent bookkeeping for the year ended 30/04/2025
Checking Amazon Clearing, Amazon Reserve, eBay Clearing, Tide Bank, and card accounts
Making sure all marketplace payouts are correctly matched to the bank
Checking that sales, refunds, fees, shipping, reserve movements, and holds are correctly posted
Recording / correcting the following debts and liabilities:
Capital on Tap debt
YouLend loan
iwoca loan
Tide cash flow loan
personal funding / director loan
intercompany / related company funding if needed
Posting any missing:
salary / payroll journals
interest
loan balances
unpaid supplier / shipping invoices
Reviewing the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Trial Balance as at 30/04/2025
Helping make the file ready for Companies House and HMRC

I need someone who can work today
I am not an accountant, so I need someone who can work step by step and explain clearly
I have already spent a lot of time coding transactions, so I need someone who can fix and complete, not start from zero
You should be comfortable reviewing imported CSV-based marketplace bookkeeping
Deliverables

a reviewed and corrected FreeAgent file
a list of any adjusting journals
confirmation of the final year-end balances
guidance on what is ready for:
