Catch-Up Corporate & Personal Taxes
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
My small corporation has one outstanding fiscal year left to file and my own personal returns have been sitting untouched for the past five years. I already hold part of the bookkeeping trail—digital bank statements, past invoices, and some expense summaries—but I know gaps still exist, so I will need guidance on exactly what else the CRA will expect and the most efficient way to retrieve it.
Here is what I want to walk away with:
• A compliant T2 return for the corporation’s most recent year, ready for e-file or mailed submission, complete with schedules, financial statements, and any necessary elections.
• Five accurate T1 personal returns, each matched to its due year, balanced for carry-forwards or credits, and set up for immediate filing.
• Clear notes outlining any additional information you needed me to supply, so I can keep my own records straight if the CRA asks later.
Please use CRA-approved filing software and be prepared to correspond with me about missing slips or ledger entries so we can close every year without surprises. Once you have everything you need, I’d like an estimated turnaround time and a quick outline of any milestones you recommend—corporate first or personal first, for example—so I can keep track of progress.
