Career Readiness Consultant
Budget: $2 – $1,000 USD
We’re currently seeking a consultant to deliver a remote training program for two students who are preparing for careers in fields such as Accounting, Tax, IT, and related areas. These are motivated individuals transitioning into professional roles, and our goal is to equip them with the practical, hands-on knowledge they’ll need to succeed.
The consultant will be responsible for leading the training sessions and providing feedback to help the students meet their learning objectives. The course will cover topics including bookkeeping fundamentals, invoicing and QuickBooks payments, managing online accounts, tax basics for sole proprietors, writing checks, paying bills, and tips for using QuickBooks Online efficiently.
We’ve allocated a budget of $985 per session/day, with flexibility for non-consecutive training days. We anticipate approximately 4–6 sessions per student, though we’re open to your guidance on what would be most effective. Sessions typically run between 3 to 5 hours, depending on content and pace.
The course has a general framework and key learning objectives already outlined (please see the attached outline so you can review and advise on the ideal number of sessions needed to effectively cover everything). That said, we absolutely welcome the practitioner’s input in shaping the structure and delivery to best support the learners’ needs.
