Monthly Bookkeeping & Tax Preparation

My small team (fewer than ten staff) runs everything in Xero and I want an experienced accountant to keep the numbers clean and tax-ready each month.

Scope of work
• Reconcile all bank, credit-card and payment-processor feeds in Xero every month.
• Close the monthly books with accurate coding of expenses, revenue, and payroll journals.
• Generate a short management pack (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow snapshot) so I can review performance quickly.
• Prepare and file all required business tax returns at year-end, using the data you have already kept up to date.

Acceptance criteria
• Month-end reconciliation completed within five business days of receiving statements.
• Financial reports agree 100 % with Xero ledgers and show zero unreconciled transactions.
• Tax filings submitted on time with supporting schedules stored in our shared drive.

Everything is cloud-based, so you can work remotely; I will grant you advisor access in Xero and share any extra documents through Google Drive. Let me know your availability and how you normally structure your workflow so we can get started next month.
