LLC & Music Licensing Setup

I’m ready to formalize my music business as an LLC and put every piece in place so my catalog can be legally licensed for television, film, commercials, and live performance. I need help on paperwork and I need guidance on structuring the taxes from day one. Alongside that, I want to be absolutely sure my songs are cleared and properly registered for sync deals, cue sheets, and public performance royalties. And set up a PRO and publisher.

3. Register my catalog with relevant Performing Rights Organizations, sound recording databases, and any sync-licensing platforms we agree on.
4. Provide a step-by-step checklist for pitching music to supervisors, filing cue sheets, and issuing licenses.
Acceptance criteria
• LLC confirmed as active by the state.
• EIN issued and linked to a bookkeeping setup that reflects creative-industry deductions.
• At least one track fully registered and ready for immediate licensing, with documentation I can replicate for the rest of the catalog.
