Full-Spectrum Accounting & Canadian Tax
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My company is rolling several finance functions into one streamlined project and needs a professional who can handle them end-to-end.
Bookkeeping comes first: every expense, sale, supplier invoice, and payroll run must be entered, reconciled to the bank, and supported by clear backup in QuickBooks (or Xero if you prefer). I need current-year data brought fully up to date and a monthly routine established so the ledgers stay clean.
Next is tax preparation under Canadian regulations. This includes federal and provincial corporate returns, GST/HST filings, and the working-paper package that supports each figure. Accuracy and compliance with CRA guidelines are non-negotiable.
Beyond compliance, I want the numbers to work for me. Once the books are tidy, deliver a concise financial analysis highlighting profitability by product line, cash-flow trends, and any red-flag ratios you spot. Visuals in Excel or Power BI are welcome as long as the underlying calculations are transparent.
Finally, translate those insights into a bank-ready business plan: narrative, market overview, three-year projections tied back to the bookkeeping data, and a brief risk section outlining contingency strategies.
Deliverables
• Reconciled general ledger covering expenses & income, invoices, and payroll
• Completed and e-file-ready Canadian tax return with supporting schedules
• Financial analysis report with charts and actionable commentary
• Investor-friendly business plan (Word/PDF) with linked financial statements
Acceptance criteria
• Trial balance and bank statements agree to the cent
• CRA-compliant tax file passes any basic pre-assessment check
• Analysis includes at least three key performance ratios and a cash-flow forecast
• Business plan financials connect logically to the bookkeeping totals
Everything should be organized in a shared cloud folder so I can trace each number back to source. If you’re comfortable meeting those checkpoints, let’s keep my finances both compliant and strategically useful.
