Fix my missing social security contributions
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
During my graduate studies at LSU I had a stipen/pay 20-40K/year for 5 years 2002-2007. This year I created an account with the Social Security and discovered that my income is not showing properly between 2002-2007.
I was able to retrieve my W2s and 1098s so I do have the proofs of income.
I just filed a record correction form along with the W2s and 1098s to the SS but I guess it's too early to hear something back. I need a lawyer to follow up on this and make this work experience count for me. I was doing research and teaching in the chemical engineering department at LSU in Baton Rouge.
