Part-Time Tax Accountants Needed

I’m expanding my boutique tax practice and need reliable, mid-level tax accountants who can jump in on a part-time schedule. You already know your way around individual and small-business returns, can navigate tax software (UltraTax, ProSeries, or similar), and feel comfortable speaking directly with clients when questions pop up.

Here’s the rhythm of the work. During peak season you’ll prepare and review federal and state returns, research occasional gray-area issues, and e-file once I’ve given final sign-off. Off-season hours focus on quarterly estimates, light bookkeeping in QuickBooks, and helping me refine internal checklists so everything runs smoother next year. I handle client onboarding; you pick up the file once documents are uploaded, keep track of open items in our shared portal, and update me if anything stalls.

I’m looking specifically for mid-level talent: someone who’s done this for a few seasons, confident enough to work independently yet willing to ask when something’s unclear. Current CPA or EA status is a plus but not required if you can demonstrate solid hands-on experience.
