Hi.
I’m Roy S. McLeod from Massachusetts, currently living in Europe, moving back to Asia.
I’ve taught English in China for quite a few years.
And I continue to teach Chinese students remotely over videocalls. I’d like to find a few more.
To do that, I want to post a few short videos of my class.
Your job is to be the student.
No need to prepare anything, it’ll just be a normal class, no acting or pretending, your English is sufficient. I teach students of all levels.
What is necessary, however, is an outgoing, positive person.
The plan is, first a few minute videocall to see if we are suitable for collaboration.
Then do an hourlong demo class on Tencent Meeting.
Then I will cut some few-minute long videos from the hour and post them on Rednote and Bilibili, hoping to attract some one-on-one students.
I don’t have any followers because I don’t post any videos.
So I don’t expect many people to see the videos, maybe few tens or hopefully hundreds.
If I find the few long-term students I am looking for, I would delete the videos again. I have no interest in being on social media and putting out content regularly. That’s a full-time job. I just want to find a few additional students and continue to work on my project in peace.
