Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

Project:
Translating subtitles of movies/web series - English to Tamil
Video duration: 20mins/40mins/100+ minutes if they are movies.
Deadlines will be ideally 1 - 3 days and depend on the duration of the file.
Project Estimation - Next 1 Year.
Yes, It's a long-term project and a huge volume. We will have a proper contract for next one year.

3. Person who has very good written skill with Tamil Language.

Responsibilities:
1. Providing high quality translation and/or interpretation of various English movies or dramas into Tamil.
2. Ensuring consistency of terminology and demonstrating highest standards of professional behavior.
3. Using specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used.
4. Researching legal, technical and scientific phraseology to find the correct translation.
5. Proofreading and editing final translated versions.
6. Using the internet and email as research tools throughout the translation process.
7. Prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
8. Retaining and developing knowledge on specialist areas of translation.
Requirements:
1. Applicants must be able to understand colloquial/idiomatic expressions of spoken English.
2. Applicants must be able to speak and type English fluently.
3. Applicants must possess extensive knowledge of grammar and excellent writing skills in English.
4. Applicants must be able to deal with extremely high time pressure to meet a deadline.
5. Applicants should have high-speed internet and a well-performing workstation or laptop.
