Short-Term Rental Recruiting Revamp
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I run a growing network of short-term rentals and need a recruiter who can overhaul the way we find, assess, and integrate new team members. My priority is to build a reliable pipeline of entry-level talent with solid hospitality experience, strong customer service instincts, and a proven knack for solving on-the-spot problems.
Here’s the situation: our current process is informal and time-consuming. I want you to take ownership of three touchpoints—sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding—so we can scale quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Candidate sourcing
– Audit current channels and recommend better ones (Indeed, LinkedIn, local hospitality schools, etc.).
– Set up or configure an ATS so every applicant is tracked from first contact to day one.
• Interview process
– Create concise screening scripts and behavioral question banks tailored to short-term rental scenarios.
– Train my managers on structured interviewing and quick scoring so decisions are objective and data-driven.
• Onboarding
– Produce a 30-day ramp-up plan, including property-specific SOPs, digital handbooks, and first-shift checklists.
– Define success metrics we can revisit weekly so new hires hit the ground running.
Acceptance criteria: a documented workflow for all three stages, a live candidate funnel with at least five qualified entry-level prospects ready for final interviews within four weeks, and onboarding materials my team can reuse without your involvement.
If you excel at building lean recruitment systems for hospitality teams, I’d love to see how you’d tackle this.
