React Developer for Video Production Website
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
About the Project
I am the founder of NSV Studios, a high-end video production and animation agency. I have built the foundational version of our new agency website and internal team portal. The core logic and database connections are live, but I need a Senior React Developer to step in, clean up the codebase, fix a few persistent UI bugs, and push the site to a production-ready state.
Current Tech Stack
Frontend: React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
Backend & Auth: Firebase (Authentication & Firestore)
Note: We are not using Firebase Storage to keep costs down; all media relies on external URLs or direct embeds.
UI Assets: Lucide React icons
What I Have Built So Far (Current State of the App)
The following features are currently coded and functioning:
Authentication: Google
Firestore Database Architecture:
users: Stores user profile data (phone numbers, company names, external project links).
messages: Contact form submissions (write-only for public, read-only for Admin).
portfolio_projects: Stores official NSV Studios work (read-only for public, write for Admin).
team_submissions: Internal employee submission logging.
allowed_emails: A security allowlist for team members.
Role-Based Internal "Team Portal":
Automatically detects the Admin email (....@gmail.com) and displays an "Executive Dashboard" to review team submissions and manage the allowed_emails list.
If a standard user logs in (and is on the allowlist), they see a "Creator Workspace" to submit their external Drive/Frame.io links.
UI/UX Foundation: The site is heavily styled with Tailwind CSS, utilizing glassmorphism effects, a Cyberpunk grid background, and a strict dark-mode aesthetic.
What I Need You To Do (Scope of Work)
UI/UX Polish & Bug Fixing:
Implement an interactive "Before & After" media player on the Portfolio page (click a button on a static image to instantly play the ad video in the same container, perfectly cropped to a 16:9 aspect ratio).
Ensure all components are fully mobile-responsive (currently, some modals and navigation elements need tweaking for smaller screens).
Clean up any layout breaks or z-index issues.
Codebase Cleanup: Review the existing React components, remove redundant code, ensure TypeScript types are properly defined, and optimize for performance.
Deployment Setup: Configure and successfully deploy the final application to Vercel or Netlify.
Ideal Freelancer Profile:
Deep expertise in React, Vite, and Tailwind CSS.
Strong experience with Firebase Security Rules (Firestore).
An eye for high-end, cinematic, dark-mode web design.
Clear communication and ability to work with an existing codebase rather than starting from scratch.
To apply, please start your proposal with the word "CINEMATIC" so I know you read the full brief. Please include links to 2-3 React/Tailwind projects you have built.
