JavaScript Platform Support, Part-Time

I run an early-stage web platform and need a reliable teammate who can give me 10–15 focused hours each week. The stack is almost entirely JavaScript, so deep, hands-on expertise there is essential. Most of the logic lives in Cloudflare Workers and other edge/serverless functions, so you should feel at home debugging and extending code that runs outside of a traditional server.

On the front end we ship React through Vite, style everything with Tailwind, coordinate state in XState, and validate data with zod. If you already know all of those tools you’ll be productive from day one; if a couple are new to you, a fast learning curve and solid fundamentals will work too. The occasional script in Python or Ruby might pop up, but they are far from core requirements.

Typical week:
• Pick up small feature tickets or bug reports from GitHub issues.
• Discuss edge-case behaviour with me over Slack, then push concise PRs.
• Deploy through our existing CI/CD pipeline and verify production health.

Success for me is clean, reviewed code that reaches production without regressions and helps move product ideas into reality. If you like working independently, communicating clearly, and keeping a young platform stable while we add new capabilities, let’s talk.
