Tableau 1-on-1 Beginner Tutoring
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I’m brand-new to Tableau and need a patient, knowledgeable tutor to guide me through the fundamentals in live, one-to-one sessions. My focus areas are data visualization basics, connecting to data sources, and dashboard creation. I already have specific work projects in mind, so each lesson should be hands-on and anchored to my real datasets and KPIs.
Here’s how I picture the engagement:
• Meet via Zoom or Google Meet, with screen-sharing and session recordings so I can review the material later.
• A short learning roadmap that gets me from “Beginner” to confidently importing data, choosing the right chart types, and assembling interactive dashboards.
• Practical homework or mini-assignments between calls and the option to message you for quick clarifications.
Acceptance criteria
• I can connect Tableau to at least two data sources (e.g., Excel sheet and CSV or SQL).
• I can create well-formatted bar, line, scatter, and map visuals using best-practice design principles.
• I can build and publish a multi-sheet dashboard with filters, actions, and tooltips that refreshes correctly with updated data.
I’m thinking 5–8 hourly sessions to start, but I’m flexible on timing and structure. If you’re comfortable teaching the latest Tableau Desktop (and Tableau Cloud/Server concepts where relevant), let’s set up our first call and map out the plan.
